Who We Are
We are not teaching

Caleb and Carla Nelson have been married nearly thirty years. They have five children and have operated multiple businesses together. They have been meeting with, coaching, and walking alongside couples in homes, churches, and private settings since 1999.
They did not quit. And what they built on the other side of all of it is not a platform — it is a testimony. Post & Gate was built from that testimony, rooted in Deuteronomy 6:9.

The Ministry
Post & Gate was built
from a marriage.
The name comes from Deuteronomy 6:9. The post is structure. The gate is the entry point. Together they describe a household that is intentionally built and spiritually guarded.
What We Do

Post & Gate is a conversation-led teaching ministry. Everything it produces — the devotionals, the books, the weekend experiences, the private two-day offering — flows from one conviction: the home is the first assignment. What you build inside it either passes something worth carrying down to the next generation, or it doesn't.
Caleb and Carla are published authors and keynote speakers. They utilize forgiveness-based tools and frameworks in their work with couples. They teach what they have lived. The Word is the foundation everything else is built on — not as a framework borrowed from a conference, but as the operating system of their household for nearly thirty years.
Post & Gate™ was not built from a curriculum. It was built from a marriage. Their credential is not a certification. It is a testimony.
What We Believe
The convictions

The home is the first assignment. Faith is proven in daily consistency — not big moments. Alignment creates strength. Leadership is responsibility, not control. Marriage is a shared assignment before God.
Post & Gate is built on the Biblical model of marriage — one man and one woman in covenant before God. That is not a caveat. That is the foundation everything we teach is built on, and it defines who this ministry is designed to serve.
